Digi incentive

It's an endeavour to ensure that one is not shortchanged in the digital payment. In this direction I always ensure that CNG stations press the right amount/figure in the card payment. I never knew the existence of anything like the digi incentive. When I found that while the screen showed ₹ 207.11 but the SMS notification showed a deduction of just ₹ 205.56 I made a close scrutiny. I found that an amount of ₹ 1.55 is deducted from the real charge of ₹207.11 and as a result net amount payable comes to ₹ 205.56. I

From the site it became clear thhat the digital Incentive scheme, the Government of India, Niti Aayog (National Institute for Transforming India) has come with a slew of incentives to digitize cash.
The broad objectives which NITI Aayog wants to modernize the payment system, promote transparency and accountability, reduce transaction costs, and decrease the size of the grey or informal economy, etc.

The budgetary process

Department of Consumer Affairs

Through the budgetary process the government (Department of Consumer Affairs) strengthens the existing mechanisms for consumer welfare. Towards this end an amount of Rs. 6 crore is allocated for strengthening consumer courts and fora, Rs. 52 crore for strengthening of legal metrology regulation and enforcement, Rs. 2 crore for strengthening of price monitoring cell and Rs. 25 crore for strengthening of National Test House during the year 2019-20.

For spreading awareness of consumer rights an amount of Rs. 62 crore is allocated. T

is over and above consumer advocacy carried on through the fund available with the Consumer Welfare Fund (CWF). During the year 2019-20 an amount of Rs. 19.50 crore is earmarked from CWF.

Also the government implements the schemes of standardization (with allocation of Rs. 1 crore) and hallmarking of gold jewellery (with allocation of Rs. 1 crore).

Besides above since 1st April, 2016 the Price Stabilization Fund (PSF) was transferred from the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare to the Department of Consumer Affairs. Allocation under the head for 2019-20 is Rs. 2000 crore.

54 copies of BIS Annual Report (2017-18) brought by postman from Gurudwara rakabganj side. He was asked to approach from Red Cross Road side. But PHA Reception has no dog squad. Officer incharge allowed passage after second x ray scanning and sample examination.
Sarika, PS to Ms Rozydhawan 23236953 sent the covering UO Note electronically, was asked to send the hard copy too.
