resolving complaints on misleading and false advertisements.
(1) What are
the number of cases on misleading and false advertisements received ? What are
the final settlements and number of cases pending with reasons for pendency,
case-wise, since September, 2015 till date.
VOICE Society, Delhi,
sanctioned Rs. 40 lakh in September, 2014 (Page 43-44 11th report on dfg
2016-17)
(1) What are the
names of the 6 products and 2 services tested by VOICE Society along with the
findings therefrom ? Whether the platform of such publication is not far
reaching enough to reach the large mass of consumers?
(2) Does the
NGO spread the finding to the consumers? If so, what was the response of the
consumers?
(3) What are
the demand pressures given to manufacturers on the consumers' behalf? What are
the response therof, company-wise?
(4) What are
the details of advocacy campaigns made by VOICE Society along with the success
achieved therefrom?
(5) What are the
action taken to verify claims by different brands of health related products
against relevant national standards?
